Revitalize Your Church Lessons & Summary

Ready for something new?

Sunday School attendance across the country has been dropping for several years and the traditional model has suffered. Many have said that they want something different, more “modern,” so beginning with the first Sunday in January at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center, something new and different will be offered. Rather than having lectures, there will be discussion based studies with a host of questions to consider relative to our daily lives. The focus will be on how to respond to the many issues and trials every day brings. The Scriptures and questions for each Sunday will be posted on the New Hope Friends facebook page and church website weekly. Everyone who desires a different approach is encouraged to attend. All you need is your Bible. The traditional classes will be available as well. Our goal is to meet the needs of everybody.

THANK YOU

Thank You:

To all who worked so hard in December to make everything a great success. With out each of you this would not have been possi-ble. Decorating, practicing, planning, cleaning, music, (playing & singing), teaching, preaching, directing, cooking, serving, attending and listening, just to mention a few. God bless each of you who work to serve our Lord.

We are extremely grateful to Elroy Market for the beautiful Christmas tree, which was donated, for the church to enjoy during Christmas. Thanks to Harold and Pam Edwards for their gift of giving each year. Thanks to all who placed poinsettia’s in the sanctuary for all to enjoy during Christmas. If you have not paid for your poinsettia, please do so by dropping a check in the offering plate or see Elaine Ed-wards. The cost was $20.
